A: I try to minimize downtime and keep it to less than a day, but it could be longer for big projects. I do this by writing reusable code to clean your data. Once we have the cleaning process solidified, I will re-download your most current data, run it through the cleaning process, and import the cleaned data to overwrite incorrect data. We will coordinate the timing of this step to minimize the impact to your business.

A: We always begin with a backup of your data, and when I download data from your system for cleaning, I do not manipulate the original files. I only use them as inputs to my cleaning process and generate new files for the cleaned data. Additionally, I involve you in all important decisions, like which data to delete or change.
